Turner Lane Manager Receives Honor from Crisp County Community Council

Ashburn, GA – On November 14th, Turner Lane manager Bambie Hayes received the Crisp County Cares Award from the county’s Community Council. The Crisp County Community Council brings community partners together to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address challenges facing families in Cordele and Crisp County. Bambie has performed extensive work in the community, including implementing the “Real Women Read” program. She also founded the Leroy and Queen Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors. At Turner Lane, she conducts painting and art activities for her younger residents. In addition, she mentors young girls, coaches youth soccer, and delivers meals to Cordele’s home-bound veterans. BMI is thrilled to highlight our staff when they receive recognition from community organizations. Congratulations to Bambie for such a wonderful honor
