Community Gathers Together to Feed Selman Place

Bainbridge, GA – Selman Place is located in the small, south Georgia town of Bainbridge, GA. They received extensive damage from Hurricane Michael and have been without power for six days. The residents there are elderly and disabled and have consumed their non-perishable food items. Despite enormous losses throughout the community, the local churches and  Salvation Army recognized the need for meals at Selman Place and have been delivering daily meals for the residents. Allyson Matthew, Site Manager for Selman Place, says, “We feel blessed by the outpouring of love from fellow community residents and first responders.”
