Big Sky Celebrates in Big Style!

Hiawassee, GA – Big Sky Village is full of smiles! Last month they celebrated their 10 year anniversary! Residents enjoyed a candlelit dinner in the elegantly decorated clubhouse, complete with music and entertainment and each resident went home with a door prize or gift. Eight of the attendees were among the original Big Sky residents and they were delighted to relate their stories of life at Big Sky for the past ten years.  “I’ve lost count of the residents that have come to the office since to say thank you for such a beautiful evening and have what they referred to as the royal treatment, ” shared site manager Renee Shelley!  “We all had a spectacular time!”

This month they also celebrated the 100^th birthday of the resident centenarian, Imogene Humphrey. She had a “Driving Miss Daisy” ride on a beautiful 3-wheeler and loved every minute of it! Affectionately known as “Queen” at Big Sky Village, she has been a resident of the community for 7 years and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon! Happy birthday, Miss Queen!
